maintaining brand connections
Staying true to your brand’s verbal and visual expression can be challenging with team members being so dispersed. There are simple ways in which you can keep your brand fresh, relevant and connected from remote working locations.
Brand Guidelines
- Use this time to develop or update your brand guidelines
- Develop an intranet site for remote access and approvals
- Put a structure and procedures in place for the review and approval of all visual and verbal branding components
Your website (Now more than ever your website is your primary marketing tool)
+ Is content up-to-date?
+ Is the look and feel consistent with your brand?
- Does it match the latest updates to your brand’s visual and verbal expressions?
- Are there dated photos of team members who no longer work with you?
- Are there photos that can be offensive given the current climate?
+ Is the messaging appropriate for today’s health concerned environment?
+ Do you need to add any messaging relevant to Covid-19?
- Perhaps develop a Covd-19 landing page for all relevant information
+ Is it ADA compliant for the aging and disabled customers?
- Xhilarate has a partnership with Accessibility Ventures to address this need

Our work and personal lives have been redefined by circumstances that are out of our control. Our teams, brands, families and friends are competing for our attention under conditions that are less than ideal. Fortunately, technology gives us many ways to stay connected to work, home and play.
